THE INTRICATE DETAILS OF BANTEAY SREI TEMPLE OUTSIDE OF SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA

In early 2014 I came on board as a team lead for The Giving Lens, an organization in which three philosophies are blended: global travel, photography, and giving back to the places we visit.  I have been working in Peru and Cambodia exploring the culture, history and beauty of what these places have to offer.

The Giving Lens trips are unique, one of a kind international travel photography experiences lead by professional photographers.  During the course of the trip, participants and leaders volunteer with local, grassroots NGOs as well as visit once in a lifetime locations all while learning various aspects of photography.  At the end of each journey, all involved return home changed forever.

In 2016 I was brought on board to function as the Manager of Operations for The Giving Lens.  In addition to leading trips, I also work on the day to day logistics of trip planning, coordination with our participants and NGOs, as well as seeking out new opportunities as we grow and expand our reach throughout the world.

Currently the countries in which we are actively working include:

  • Cuba
  • Nicaragua
  • Cambodia
  • Peru
  • Morocco
  • Thailand

Below is a compilation of photos taken from exploring and working with the various NGO groups in Peru and Cambodia. I'll be adding in more examples as my trip log grows.
